Well, let see. I guess this is where I should tell you a little about myself. Lets see... I was born in Belleville, NJ on December 9, 1973 (which makes me 25 years old for those of you who use your hands and feet to count <grin>). I attended grammar and high school in Lyndhurst, NJ which is also where I resided for my first 19 years of life. I was a normal child (or as normal as you could get I guess when you live in NJ) and lived a fairly uneventful life. Friends, toys, video games, school, religion, and family were all important parts of my life and continue to be to this day. I then applyed and got accepted to the DeVry Institue of Technology in Woodbridge NJ where I attended class for 2 years and 4 months. I then transferred to the Atlanta campus where I finished my Bachlor of Science degree.
I decided after graduation to stay in Atlanta, however life had some surprises for me and boy were they *big* surprises. 2 weeks after graduation my father went in for some "routine" back surgery where the doctor assured us that "95% of my patients come out better than they went in and 5% remain the same". When the operation was all said and done, my father would forever be a quadriplegic (no use of his legs and very limited use of his upper body.) I wondered what percentage of the doctors numbers my father fell into since to me 95+5=100. Right? But I digress. I landed a job right out of school doing Visual Basic programming. Needless to say I soon found out after about 3 months that programming was not my calling in life. I left the company I was with, went back to the office of DeVry's Student Placement and picked up an interview that same day for Reuters Health Information Services. I worked here for almost two and a half years and enjoyed it immensely. We had a great group of people and I made great friends while I was here, many of whom I still talk to today almost 3 years later. Sadly, our office was shut down for various reasons and we closed up shop for good on June 30,1996.
